BTC tumbled to around $30,000, over 50% off its all-time high price recorded last month. The plunge sent ETH and the rest of the market into the red, with many assets falling 40% or more on the day. Analysts have pointed to Tesla's BTC U-turn, more news of a China crypto crackdown, and a fall in stocks and commodities as key driving factors behind the dip, though the market was also overheated heading into this week. Many have argued that the correction was healthy, pointing out that Bitcoin has experienced drops of 30% or more in previous bull runs. We hope that in the coming weeks the market can fully recover. We don't think there's anything to suggest that the bull market is over, a viewpoint shared by our veteran analyst and blog contributor Dave Reiter.
