🚀 Just over 50 days to go...

After the dramatic drops of last week, it's been a significantly quieter week in the cryptocurrency markets. And although we'd love to see more of a rally, we'll take stability over carnage! Plus, a quiet week in the markets means there are zero distractions from our priority #1 - preparing for the testnet launch of Digitex.

Speaking of which, the latest SmartDec report is now out! Believe it or not, there are currently no less than 23 developers and testers finalizing the work on our platform.
Our colleagues in Moscow are tireless in their efforts, and their attention to detail is nothing short of impressive.
This week, SmartDec has shared a schematic
of how the exchange architecture works.
Although it's highly technical, even the least technically-minded layperson can easily see the complexity, along with how many moving parts the development team is coordinating to deliver Digitex.

You can read the SmartDec report in full for yourself. However, the TL;DR version is that the team is making tremendous progress, and everything is bang on target for the testnet launch on November 30!
As you can tell from SmartDec's report, they're putting the Digitex platform through its paces with rigorous testing and bug fixing. However, with the best will in the world, there's no way for programmed trading bots to replicate the load of 10,000 active human traders simultaneously placing orders.

So, once we launch, our 10,000 beta testers are going to play a crucial role. They'll be the ones that will help us to find any last remaining bugs or glitches in the beta version of the Digitex exchange. It might sound strange, but we actually want these guys to do their utmost to break the platform.
Yes, really! We need Digitex to take everything the testers can throw at it, and we want them to weed out every single imperfection they can find, no matter how tiny.

Because that's the only way we'll know that Digitex is ready to face the public demand for zero-fee trading.

We're incredibly grateful to our community and especially our loyal DGTX HODLers. You guys are troopers for patiently sticking with us through these last critical weeks leading up to the launch.

We couldn't be more excited that in a matter of weeks, 10,000 of our supporters will get to experience the culmination of the Digitex vision and help us through the last leg in delivering zero-fee trading to the world!
Our resident market expert Dave Reiter performed a comprehensive analysis of the cryptocurrency markets for the month of September, including some rationale on what may have caused last week's meltdown. Read it here.

You spend all day chatting to them in the Digitex Telegram Group, but the chances are you've never seen their faces. We decided it's time to change that, so the latest Digitex team spotlight is on two of our ever-patient Community Managers. Read more from Jolien and Radim here.
Digitex's public profile continues to grow, with two new articles published this week.

First up, EdgeCoinNews has just released a full feature interview of our very own Adam Todd. In it, Adam explains how Digitex is his attempt to bring the pit experience to life on our screens, and the scale of the technical challenge in doing so. Read it here.

Secondly, Digitex's upcoming testnet launch is piquing the interest in the DGTX token, as it was featured in Coinsubtle as one of five crypto projects to watch this fall. Others on the list include the Telegram Open Network GRAM token, and Enjincoin. Suffice to say, we're flattered to be included in such good company! Read it here.
