Celebrating Over 1000 Traders On The DFE...

This week, we onboarded another group of users, taking the total to 1,000 now trading on the DFE mainnet! Although we've been moving slow and steady since we first opened the mainnet on April 27, hitting the 1k milestone means that we've now tested the platform sufficiently that we will be ramping things up from now on.

Starting from next week, we'll be onboarding users in far bigger groups from our waitlist, in advance of a public opening. If you've been sitting tight and waiting for your turn, it's almost here!

Monday's news roundup

We started the week with a raft of Digitex-related news. We have a new exchange listing on Vietnamese trading platform VCC Exchange, and we've reopened our mainnet trading photo contest, this time with a slightly different format.

We also shared feedback from the last group of traders to be onboarded to mainnet, and details of an awesome podcast interview with Adam featured in Hackernoon! Check out all the gossip in our Monday blog post.

On Tuesday, TA expert Ali Martinez was back with some more insights to help up your trading game. This week, he outlines how a technical index used by institutional traders can be used to time your trading activities.

The Tom Demark index isn't yet available on the DFE, but traders wanting to take advantage of it can find it on platforms such as TradingView and easily apply it to their Digitex trading activities. Ali demonstrates how it can be used to generate returns of up to 180% when applied to BTC market movements.

Digitex's new COO is a familiar face

On Wednesday, we brought Chris Psallidas back into the Team Spotlight. Chris joined Digitex in March as our Head of Customer Support and Experience, but he's recently had a promotion to become Digitex's Chief Operations Officer!

In the latest Team Spotlight, Chris shares how he stepped up into the new role, his vision for the future of Digitex, and how he works with Adam. Check it out over on the blog.

10 reasons why Digitex is here to stay!

If you've been following Digitex for a while, you'll know that our journey to mainnet has been anything but easy. However, this rollercoaster has turned us into one of the most resilient and robust companies in the crypto space.

From our visionary CEO to a token with real-life utility, to our unique, zero-fee business model powered by DGTX, Digitex is in it for the long haul. On Thursday, mainnet trader Sulla Felix outlined ten reasons why Digitex is here to stay.

We're preparing for a vast amount of interest in the DFE from newcomers drawn in by the concept of zero-fee trading and the opportunity to participate in the value that will be generated by the demand for DGTX. We're aiming to make sure we can deliver outstanding content that speaks to the type of audience coming to the Digitex website.

So we're launching a fun quiz that will pop up on the website, and we're inviting our community to test it out for us, with the opportunity to win DGTX! We'll be randomly selecting ten quiz entries, each of which will win 1,000 DGTX. Read how you can enter, in our Friday blog post.
Digitex in the press
If you haven't yet had a listen to Adam's awesome, in-depth, hour-long podcast interview with Hackernoon, you're missing out! Titled "How to build a cryptocurrency exchange from scratch," Adam shares all the details of our journey to mainnet launch and the lessons he learned along the way with host Utsav Jaiswal. It's an absolute must-hear, so if you missed it, make sure it finds its way onto your weekend playlist.

So that rounds up another week of news and views from Digitex! Our mainnet public launch is getting closer and closer, and we've already started planning some big events for the day that zero-fee trading launches to the world. We're super excited to share more about this with you as soon as the developers sign off on the date.

Stay tuned, and thanks for sticking with us!

Roadmap Update, Plus A $16k Trading Strategy

In a week where not much else happened in the cryptocurrency markets, Digitex has announced our summer rollout roadmap, and we have some treats in store!

Monday's blog post was a summary of all the work that's happening behind the scenes to get the mainnet ready for a public launch. We also made some exciting announcements about new markets and features coming to the DFE!

From ETH deposits to new markets in ETHUSD and GoldUSD contracts, to a mobile app further down the line - it's all still to play for on the DFE. To read about all the new developments in the pipeline, head over to the blog.

A good year for ETH

While BTC continues its struggle to break the $10k psychological barrier, there's hasn't been a lot of fanfare about what a great year ETH has been having. Crypto's second-largest asset has seen gains of over 75% since January.

So given we're branching out into ETHUSD contracts, we decided to shine a spotlight and see what's behind this stellar growth. TA expert Ali rounds up what's been happening, together with his own forecast covering what we could expect for the price of ETH in Tuesday's blog post.

A $16k trading strategy

Cryptrader is one of our most active mainnet users, and when you consider he's taken a cool 400,000 DGTX in profits since he started using the DFE, it's no surprise he keeps coming back for more!

On Wednesday, he published one of his regular videos, where he shares the strategy he's been using to reap these kinds of gains. If you're looking for tips to up your own trading game, it's a must-watch.

API progress

The API is one of the key features that will help Digitex attract traders from other futures platforms, as it will allow them to simply transfer their existing bots over to the DFE. However, developing the API involves some complex work behind the scenes that has to be done in the right sequence to ensure it's ready for the kind of volumes we're expecting.

So we've lifted the lid on what's happening with the API. In Thursday's blog post, we outline the steps involved in ensuring that the API can read market data before it can start processing trades.
Comprehensive beginners guide – now on the support portal

Along with all the development work, we've also been working behind the scenes on developing our help and support catalog. So for the last post of the week, we're pleased to report that we now have a comprehensive set of beginners guides to using the DFE live on the support portal!

Our last post of the week rounds up the kind of content you can expect to find there, and issues a call to action - spread the word about Digitex to newcomers far and wide!

Finally, as an update to the system issues we experienced on mainnet last Friday, June 11. The development team has confirmed that we've now completed the replication upgrade, adding more servers to our back end systems. This ensures that in the event of a future incident involving abnormally high traffic, we have the additional capacity needed to handle it.

So as you can see, the DFE continues to charge forward! Although not all the work is visible on the surface quite yet, we've published plenty this week to demonstrate that under the hood, it's all happening. And we're delighted to confirm that we've onboarded a fresh group of 250 traders this week!

Not long to go now, and we'll be soaking up all the liquidity of a public launch. Thanks for sticking with us!
