😆 Minus 7 Days to the Public Testnet Launch

It's so tantalizingly close now! In only one week, we'll have an army of testers ready to pile into the full beta version of the Digitex Futures trading platform! But more on that in a moment.

As we mentioned in last week's newsletter, we have now onboarded the first group of 100 Alpha testers, and their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. In fact, our entire week has been spent disseminating all the comments, observations, and suggestions we've been receiving from the community in various ways.

Of course, we aren't going to pretend that everything is already perfect with the exchange. If that were the case, we'd be ready to do a public launch tomorrow. (And we're not!)

We know that the current version has bugs to fix, and this is why we need testers putting the platform through its paces, so we can weed them all out piece by piece. However, bugs aside, our first testers absolutely love the platform!

An Overwhelming Response

On Monday, we published a blog post with a summary of some of the comments we've received so far. The general consensus is that the ladder trading interface is addictive and truly brings the zero-fee trading experience to life.

You don't just need to take our word for this. The initial testers have been out in force on YouTube, putting up videos showcasing the interface at work, and openly sharing their views.

CoinCollector said he is "just amazed at the work they've done with the exchange so far." Futures Scalp opened his video by saying he thinks that Digitex is going to be "life-changing" once it goes live. And our very own Luke Green, aka lukusdukus, predicts that "traders, once they find out about this, are going to flock to this exchange."

On Tuesday, Adam hosted an AMA on Telegram, which was closed to the group of testers already on the platform. Because not everyone could participate, we created a summary for all our supporters so you can see the kind of questions and suggestions coming in from the tester group.

A large proportion of the AMA discussion was around future developments and features, which we're taking as a testament to how happy the group is with the current functionality.

Our latest blog post spotlights the feedback from two of our professional trader testers. ReadySetCrypto's Doc Severson spent a full 10 minutes of his show doing a video review of the Digitex test platform.
You can see the full review for yourself, but we were particularly happy with his input that the Digitex ladder is
"what's missing from every other futures-based interface
that's out there in crypto."

Our resident analyst and veteran trader Dave Reiter also shared his views. According to Dave's Fibonacci analysis and based on the barrage of great feedback about the alpha platform, DGTX could see a new ATH coming soon.

We're continuing to onboard a small handful of alpha testers, carefully selected from the crypto space for their help in promoting Digitex to the wider public. So you can expect to see more reviews and coverage coming soon!

The Last Mile

So how are we progressing in advance of the full testnet launch? The developers are doing a sterling job of fixing all bugs as quickly as possible after they're reported. They're also collating all the suggestions coming in from testers. As things stand while we're writing this email, there are more suggestions pending than bugs - 45 suggestions vs. 35 bugs in progress!

Overall, we couldn't be in better shape for the testnet launch.

This means that our loyal supporters will be on the receiving end of the magical invitation email next Saturday, November 30! The testnet will open from November 30, so we'll be sending out invitation emails in a mass mail the day before.

Everyone, including the current group of Alpha testers, will need to register for an account on the testnet. From there, it will be open season on zero-fee trading with play DGTX tokens and shooting down all those pesky bugs!

Digitex in the Press

With the testnet about to land, our press coverage is starting to gain serious traction. Cryptoslate featured our press release covering the early testing, including much of the positive feedback we've received.

CryptoPotato ran an article listing all the big names in the crypto derivatives trading space, featuring the likes of BitMEX's Arthur Hayes, Bakkt's Kelly Loeffler, and our very own Adam Todd. If we achieve Adam's dream of toppling BitMEX from its leading position, it won't be long before he's headlining these kinds of lists!

NewsBTC also published an overview of the Alpha testing, focusing on the great reception from the testing community. This piece hones in on the ladder interface and how its ease of use enables traders to really get in the zone of trading.

Finally, this week's coverage ended with an article from CryptoGlobe, headlined with a warning that our ladder trading interface is "highly addictive." Perhaps we should consider offering Digitex with a health warning?

ONLY SEVEN DAYS TO GO! We can hardly believe that after the rollercoaster ride of the last two years, we're within touching distance of our biggest-ever milestone to date.

Thanks for being there with us on the journey to a zero-fee trading revolution!
Adam and Team :)
