Zero Fees = Insane Liquidity + NEW Features on DFE

After last week's stellar round of announcements, this week has been a little quieter on the face of things. Nevertheless, there is plenty going on behind the scenes, with the development team beavering away to ensure we can continue onboarding and ramping up user numbers as soon as possible. Elsewhere, we've been keeping up a steady drumbeat of activity, but first, let's start with Adam's slew of announcements, hot off the press today!

Digitex's larger-than-life CEO has taken to the camera once again in one of his regular videos. In it, he demonstrates the current high levels of exchange liquidity. With 420 traders now on the mainnet, you can see for yourself just how quickly Adam's orders get filled.

He also brings news! We have new features coming out, with stop-loss now live on testnet and the API landing later this month. If that wasn't exciting enough, Digitex is launching a range of branded merchandise! We have Digitex T-shirts, baseball caps, posters, phone cases - even a Digitex face mask to help you stay safe in style.

In the meantime, we're running a poll on Telegram for our mainnet users to gauge overall satisfaction with the platform, and we'll be selecting five random submissions to win Digitex hats or T-shirts before we open the online shop to the general public.
Mainnet photo contest

We opened the week with a call to action for the community to participate in our latest contest. For the last few weeks, we've been asking our mainnet traders to send us photos of their trading activities in beautiful or unique locations or situations.

We had dozens of submissions, but the Digitex team whittled it down to just five. By the time you're reading this, we've closed the poll and can confirm that Wakanda Forever's Spiderman Cyberpunk took the first place prize of 30,000 DGTX tokens! Check out Monday's post to see the tremendous efforts involved in setting up this shot and view our other entries.

This contest has proven so popular with our community that we will be opening another photo competition in the very near future. This time, participants will also be able to compete to win selected items from our brand new range of merch, so keep your eyes peeled on our social channels for the opportunity to join in the fun!

Bitcoin volatility

On Tuesday, Bitcoin broke $10k. Although, of course, Bitcoin being Bitcoin, it crashed again within hours. Nevertheless, the $10k barrier is an important psychological resistance level and represents the breaking of a multi-year trendline that Bitcoin has been unable to penetrate before.

Our TA guy Ali Martinez breaks down what this barrier means, and how it could affect the price movements of the DGTX token.

How to use leverage

Selecting the size of your position using leverage should be done in a way that maximizes your profit potential while offsetting the risk of your position being liquidated. This isn't about selecting arbitrary numbers; there are mathematical principles you can apply to achieve this objective.

On Wednesday, Cryptrader's latest video walks through how to use leverage as a way of generating your desired position size while never risking more than 1% of your total portfolio. Watch it and learn from an expert.

HODL on to DGTX

The Digitex community isn't just traders. Many of our best supporters bought in at ICO because they knew that Digitex was a winning idea, and they wanted in on the returns offered by the DGTX token.

For anyone that still needs convincing, our Thursday post rounds up five reasons why everyone should have some DGTX in their wallet.

That's all from us this week. If you're loving all the Bitcoin volatility we've seen this week, then help us out by going and testing the new stop-loss feature on the testnet platform. The more testers we have, the faster we can put these features live, and the quicker we can start to onboard new traders to the world's first zero-fee crypto futures exchange!
