The development of the Digitex Futures exchange is now progressing full steam ahead. This week, we're delighted to confirm the initial rollout of our next new markets on the testnet - futures contracts for gold and Amazon stocks. We made the announcement on Tuesday and covered it with a deep-dive into the performance of both assets in light of recent market events. Gold has been having a stellar year, hitting all-time highs as investors rush to shift their portfolios into safe-haven assets. Meanwhile, it's no secret that Amazon's value has made founder and 10% shareholder, Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man. We can't promise that trading Amazon futures will put you in a position to compete with him. But once they're live on mainnet, you will be able to trade all the volatility of Amazon stocks and the yellow metal to your heart's content. What's more, Digitex will be THE only crypto futures exchange offering exposure to Amazon stocks once they go live on mainnet AND the only futures exchange where traders can buy and sell gold contracts with no fees. A New And Improved Digitex Is Just Around The Corner

Things are moving fast!

Last week, we made a massive announcement about the plans to develop from the Digitex Futures exchange into Digitex City. We also unveiled our transformational roadmap leading up to the end of the year. Given the scope and scale of the plans, we're not surprised that the community channels continue to be flooded with questions and speculation! So we've had two main channels of activity this week - Telegram and a ton of content on the blog to give everyone some more insights into what to expect. Also, as of today, XRP is now live on the mainnet! Hop on over to the exchange and start trading Ripple with zero fees. 5 reasons that Digitex will scale new heights Our Monday post provided a summary of the biggest developments that you can expect from Digitex between now and year-end. For those who want to continue to speculate and earn from the price of the DGTX token, the DUSD stablecoin and DGTX Staking program are the star highlights. But of course, serving an active community of traders with zero-fee markets is the primary utility of DGTX. Therefore, in addition to expanding our futures markets, traders can also look forward to zero-commission spot markets and no-spread forex markets before the year is out. The best part? Once trading is denominated in DUSD, exchange users will have a stable currency for denominating their trades. Moreover, DGTX HODLers will benefit from an increasingly scarce and valuable token, with the bonus of rewards for stakers. A peak into Digitex City On Tuesday, we took a closer look into what the transformation into Digitex City will involve. The expansion into spot and forex means that the DFE will become the Digitex exchange - a single sign-on and user interface for all assets and markets. Traders will mix and match different markets on up to three different ladders on the same screen. The post also unveils more information about what to expect from the Digitex social network - aka the City Center.
