Digitex Futures is planning to offer its users not only a wide range of crypto futures contracts for Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC) and ETH, but also traditional futures markets — including forex, metals, commodities and indexes.
The company says the goal is to expand its platform beyond the crypto market and appeal to traditional retail futures traders who are interested in commission-free trading on the markets that they are familiar with. Digitex will also add spot markets during the second half of 2019, which the company says should "make the audience for the exchange potentially massive."

There's a token sale on the horizon for Digitex Futures, and it's set to go ahead on March 1st. In the previous twenty-four hours, the DGTX coin price jumped 22% from $0.036992 up to $0.045424.
That leaves Digitex just outside the market cap to a hundred with a valuation of $31 million. Today's valuation is the highest since early January, but some way off the Christmas Eve high of $0.071 back in December.

As always, it's been an eventful month in the cryptocurrency universe. This time yesterday, the 10 largest cryptocurrencies looked to have turned in a positive performance for the month of February (with the exception of Ripple).
It was a sea of green across the board with DGTX making massive gains as well! And then, something happened. Bitcoin took another dive down to $3,653 and most major coins followed suit, with some slight signs of recovery today. |

Derivatives trading hit an all-time global high in 2018, with more than 30 billion contracts traded on exchanges, and futures trading alone up 15%. The CME reported that Bitcoin futures trading volumes in November 2018 peaked at over 14k, even as the price of BTC plummeted.

Digitex recently asked the question of whether traders are born or made. As it relates to the Crypto space, the answer can vary on a yes or no–with caveats. A resounding 85% of respondents said that traders are made. However, there are certain personality traits that are definitely helpful. And if you aren't born with them, you'll need to develop them fast to stay in the game... |
